When I'm writing my own stuff (not ads!) I focus on sci-fi and fantasy. Mostly it's YA, but not always. 

Children's picture books and movie scripts pop up too, when an idea grabs me.

I just finished my first Chapter Book – THE MOONLIGHT BRIDGE. I loved writing CORPOREAL, and learned so much finishing it, but I honestly feel like my next book, THE MOONLIGHT BRIDGE could the best thing I have ever written. But let's not jinx it. This story is about loss, grief and the mesmerising loneliness of the Moon.

My latest YA novel is CORPOREAL, a sports sci-fi coming of age tale. Zep is a Wing in a Factory. His talent for staying alive in the violent gladiatorial-style combat of the Fray has brought him the fame he always desired. But when Ocean, appears, and takes him back across a hidden gateway to her homeworld Arc, he learns a disturbing secret about the real reason for the Frays, and has to decide which side he's really on.

I co-wrote THE FIRE FOX with Nester – aka Esther Remnant, an amazing illustrator and good mate from Nelson (via Wales). It's a magical story about an Arctic Fox, a Boy, a Bird and the Northern Lights.
